If this hits home for you, we would be happy to assess your child's speech or language through clinical observation. This clinical assessment is a 60-min consultation including face-to-face observation of your child's speech within conversation / play and structured imitation tasks. It includes discussion of your child's medical / developmental history and any other concerns you may have as a parent. Following this assessment, Kelley will provide a written plan of care, highlighting rehabilitation potential and personalized speech goals.

For families seeking a more formal evaluation for insurance or diagnostic purposes, we would be happy to provide standardized testing for your child. Depending on your child's needs, testing could take from 60 - 90 minutes. Based on Kelley's clinical expertise, she will choose the appropriate diagnostic necessary for the formal evaluation of your child's speech production, sound error patterns, or receptive / expressive language skills. Once testing is complete, Kelley will provide initial results on same day of service, as well as formal written report within 48 hours of the evaluation. 

Whether it's breast-feeding, bottle-feeding or trying to transition to solids and cup-drinking, feeding your infant or young child can be so stressful if it's not going well! Kelley's years of experience as a medical pediatric speech therapist have uniquely equipped her to help you problem-solve possible areas of need and recommend further treatments as appropriate. A feeding consultation includes a face-to-face observation of your child's feeding, assessment of oral-motor structure and function, and in-depth discussion of their feeding and swallowing history. Consultation would likely be 45-60 minutes and would best be done in the child's natural environment - your home!

Speech therapy is the bread and butter of what we do. Once your child is evaluated in one of the modes listed above, we can get to work! Depending on the needs and age of your child, therapy will be 30, 45, or 60 minutes per session. Sessions will include age-appropriate play / games / activities paired with treatment techniques to help your child achieve personalized speech goals. Therapy sessions can be done either in-person or via virtual platform.
