Meet Kelley
Kelley Davis is an ASHA-certified & state licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist, located in Carmel, Indiana.
She is a wife and mother of two young children. As a mom, Kelley gets plenty of practice being patient, consistent, and fun. This helps her to be an even better speech therapist! In her free time, Kelley enjoys reading, fitness, and spending time with family. She also has a love for global travel and has had the opportunity to work with cleft surgery teams in Ecuador through Medical Missions for Children.
Experience
Kelley started her career in speech pathology in 2006 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Through her years there, she gained expertise in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of speech, language, and feeding disorders in the pediatric population. While Kelley has years of experience with language and speech delay, cleft palate speech, and infant feeding; additional special skills included: video swallow studies, FEES, Passy-Muir speaking valve, and assessment of palate function for speech with nasopharyngoscopy.
Kelley worked for 13 years at St Vincent - in the inpatient and outpatient setting, as well as in their Level IIIC NICU. She also served as speech therapist for the STV Craniofacial Team from 2011 through 2019. In January 2020, Kelley transitioned to working as an independent contractor for IN Early Intervention First Steps. She also formed Kelley D. SLP, LLC in early 2020 and can't wait to share her services with you! Kelley has a passion for meeting speech outcomes through evidence-based practice and developmentally-appropriate play. She also loves teaching / training parents and colleagues about speech development, infant feeding, and VPI.
